good to know
First of all: we are allowed to open the campsite on April 1st, according to the Belgian measures. So all Belgians are welcome! For travelers from the Netherlands/Germany: we hope and expect that the ban on non-essential travel will be lifted mid May.
Furthermore: we want to create a sanctuary at the campsite where Corona seems a bit less present. We are out and about here, and have the space - so let's enjoy being together with some distance. We provide a hygienic toilet block and general areas, and ask you to respect the measures.
Are you a bit weary to make a reservation, when you're not sure yet if you can actually make it here? We get that. If the Corona measures prevent your arrival, we will convert your deposit into a voucher that is valid for three years.
Our cozy food truck-transformed-into-a-bar is located in the middle of the campsite. Here the local beers are cold (we have a delicious Elfique triple) and we often put on some nice music. We also have very tasty organic wines, ice creams and juices.
Every morning serve an extensive breakfast, with fresh bread; organic yogurt; a local cheese and many more goodies. Including delicious coffee / cappuccino. You can also order a coffee separately from us if you have left your espresso machine at home. If you would like to have breakfast during your stay, please let us know 1 day in advance.
Don't feel like cooking? For dinner, we refer you to a few cozy restaurants where you can sit and eat outside, and there are also a number of good take-out options at a 15-20 minutes' drive. But do take your BBQ with you!
Making a fire: that's allowed! But only in a fire pit, or designated burning spot. You can rent a fire pit from us and you can also buy a box of wood.
BBQ: that is also allowed. Bring your own barbecue - please make sure it's high enough, so it doesn't burn the grass.
Parking: You can park your car in the parking lot by the entrance of the campsite. This way we ensure a more natural environment on the campsite itself. It is of course no problem to load / unload at your camping spot.
Large caravans / campers: unfortunately we do not allow campers / caravans larger than 7 meters.
Electricity: we have a limited number of places with electricity - ask for this when you make your reservation. Don't forget to bring your CEE plug!
Keeping it cool: we don't have a communal fridge. You can put your cooling elements in our freezer though.
Shopping: there is a supermarket 10 minutes' drive from the campsite.
Dog: great if you bring your dog. The dog must be kept on a leash at the campsite.
Arrival / departure: You are welcome from 2 pm. On the day of departure, make sure your camping pitch is empty by noon. If you stay in one of our tents, please check-out before 11 am.
Tip: bring water shoes!
